摘要

London—Turkish import scrap edged up Tuesday despite little trading activity as market participants increased their price expectations. S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $260/mt CFR Tuesday, up $1.50/ mt from Monday. After several cargo trades concluded last week and reported Monday pulled prices close to $260/mt, continued interest from Turkish steel mills led market value up further Tuesday, according to both buy- and sell-side sources in the market.
