摘要

We present a new multiplane imaging approach, which allows for multiple-depth imaging with extended field of view in a single acquisition. We use a quadratically distorted grating to not only allow out of focus planes to be imaged in focus, but also to bring objects into the field of view that otherwise would not be acquired. This is done by mathematical manipulation of the linear phase of the grating. We present both simulation and experimental results. In the optical implementation, we used a spatial light modulator to implement the quadratically distorted grating and image the extended multiplane sample.
