An oil spill response team is on the site of a leaking oil well southwest of Port Sulphur, Louisiana, in an area known as Rattle Snake Bayou. The US Coast Guard in New Orleans said they received a report from the National Response Center about a crude oil sheen in the area.

The Keystone XL pipeline project suffered another legal blow late Friday, when a federal judge moved to bar TransCanada from even preparatory work such as hauling pipe.
