Authorities to Vote on Corpus Christi Expansion

Authorities at the Port of Corpus Christi will vote Tuesday on a plan to float more than $200 million in debt to pay for expansions of the ship channel that would increase the amount of oil that can be exported from the busy harbor. The port has become a main conduit for US oil exports, which have swelled to more than 2 million b/d at times as companies look to take advantage of booming production from the Permian Basin (OD Apr.9’18).
