QEP Sells Utah Gas Assets With Focus on Permian

QEP Resources said it has agreed to sell natural gas assets in the Uinta Basin of Utah for $155 million as the company moves closer to its goal of becoming a Permian Basin pure-play. Denver-based QEP struck a deal with private equity-backed Middle Fork Energy Partners to sell assets located in Duchesne and Uintah counties in eastern Utah. Quantum Energy Partners announced the formation of Middle Fork in May 2017 with an initial commitment of $200 million.
