Devon Joins Host of Eagle Ford Players Returning to Work

Devon Energy is resuming activity in the Eagle Ford Shale after shutting down operations due to Hurricane Harvey, joining a host of US operators that are returning to work after the storm. Oklahoma City-based Devon had ceased all operations and shut all of its production from the play. At the end of the second quarter, the company said it was producing 63,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the South Texas play and planned to run two rigs through the second half of the year.
