BOEM Approves Eni Arctic Drilling Plan

But the project is awaiting clearance from other federal and state agencies and could face legal challenges, one offshore attorney said. Eni's proposal would include four exploratory wells in the Beaufort Sea from its Spy Island site, a pre-existing facility leased in Alaska state waters, slated for December.
