US Crude Output Holds at 12.2 Million b/d: EIA

Crude oil production in the US held steady in the opening days of April after establishing a new all-time high in the previous week, according to estimates from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). The agency’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report showed that US crude output averaged 12.2 million barrels per day in the week ended Apr. 5, on par with the record set in the week prior on the back of rising production in the lower 48 states and the Gulf of Mexico (OD Apr.4’19).
