In the lead up to a second round of Opec-plus meetings, Mexico has yet to reach 100% compliance with its agreed production cuts, but it appears on track at least to meet its curtailment goals. Opec and allied non-Opec producing nations agreed in early April to remove 9.7 million barrels per day of production to bring stability to the oil market. Compliance among Opec members is strong as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Angola collectively reached 87.6% compliance through May.
