Petronas reported a post-tax loss of 3.4 billion ringgit ($834.3 million) in the third quarter of 2020 compared to a profit of 7.4 billion ringgit ($1.8 billion) over the same period last year. Petronas’ third-quarter losses are partly due to an impairment loss on assets amounting to 6 billion ringgit ($1 billion), the company said in a statement, without outlining which assets were impaired.
