Brazil Court Clears Way for Refinery Sales

Brazil’s Supreme Court has dismissed a petition to freeze sales of Petrobras refineries, helping to clear the way for the state oil company’s ongoing divestment program. As such, the company will proceed with its plan to divest eight refineries, which make up about half of the country’s processing capacity (OD Jul.6’20).
