HollyFrontier Ramps Capex for Renewable Diesel

Independent refiner HollyFrontier will roughly double its capital spending in 2021 as it expands its footprint in the renewable diesel market. In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) dated Monday, the company said it expects to spend $1.05 billion-$1.15 billion in 2021, up from about $500 million this year. When accounting for subsidiary Holly Energy Partners (HEP), the 2021 capex figure jumps to as high as $1.2 billion.
