Next month’s meeting by the Opec-plus alliance could se- riously add to Russia’s headache over crude oil production, dimming its hopes of ever recovering to pre-crisis levels of more than 11 million barrels per day. The early June get- together of many of the world’s biggest oil producers is expected to discuss a proposal to extend until the end of the year production cuts of almost 10 million b/d being made by the alliance in May and June.
