Comex copper started the Monday March 27 trading session at amulti-week price low due to a strike resolution at the world’s largestcopper mine, Escondida in Chile.Copper for May delivery on the Comex division of the New YorkMercantile Exchange fell 4.4 cents or 1.7% to $2.5870 per lb. Earlier,the price touched $2.5765, its lowest since March 8.
