Vietnamese importers of re-rolling-grade hot rolled coil (HRC) havemoved to the sidelines of the market over the past week as pricesfrom China fell, Metal Bulletin has been told.The market continued to face short-selling pressure from tradersbetting on falling prices from Chinese mills, sources said.Metal Bulletin’s assessment of HRC import prices into SoutheastAsia – which takes into account Chinese 2-3mm SAE1006 HRC andequivalent grades sold into Vietnam – was $480-493 per tonne cfr forthe week ended Monday March 27.
