The ferrous scrap export market in the United States has remainedbusy but the latest sale to Turkey on Wednesday June 12 at a lowerprice was expected to push US dock buying prices lower.This sale from the US East Coast included an 80:20 mix of No1and No2 heavy melting scrap (HMS 1&2) at $292 per tonne cfr,shredded scrap at $297 per tonne cfr and bonus-grade scrap at$302 per tonne cfr.
