Yancoal's production up 47% on year in July-sept

Chinese-backed Australian pure play producer, Yancoal, lifted its equity share basis saleable coal production 47% on the year in July-September, to 8.97 mt from 6.09 mt. The rise is in part down to the 2017 figure only including one month of attributable production for the Mount Thorley Warkworth and Hunter Valley Operations, from 1 September. The total saleable production from Yancoal operated mines was 12.27 mt, up 49% on the year from 8.82 mt.
