Indian state-owned miner, Coal India (CIL), recorded 32% year-on- year growth in both production and dispatches last month, the highest ever growth for any September so far. The increase in September was expected as both output and dispatches were severely impacted in the same month last year by heavy rains, ?ooding at one of its leading mines and a delay in awarding some contracts by the miner.
