United States producer CONSOL Energy sold 2.3 mst (short tons) of its Pittsburgh seam coal during the second quarter, with average revenue of $43.82/st. That compares to 7.4 mst of sales and an average revenue of $47.53/st in the second quarter of 2019. As has been the practice of many of its publicly traded peers during the coronavirus-wracked first half of 2020, CONSOL is not issuing new guidance for this year. However, President and Chief Executive Oicer Jimmy Brock said there is reason for some optimism.
