Canada's January-May exports of MOP increased 5% year on year to a record-high 8.75 Mt, according to updated IHS Markit data. The volume to the US was up 2% at 4.70 Mt. Exports from Canada to China during the five-month period shot up 92% year on year to 1.19 Mt, the data show, despite the lack of a contract between Canpotex and Chinese importers so far this year.
