New producer pricing started to emerge from North American potash companies late this week after Mosaic and Nutrien pulled previous offers September 24 in the Midwest and elsewhere to assess supply and demand. A recent October-December price list for Mosaic includes a $15/st increase for its red (0-0-60) and white (0- 0-62), bringing new quotes for these products in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Missouri to $310- 315/st FOB to retailers. Confirmed sales of red granular potash in the prior couple of weeks to retailers in these states had reached $295/st FOB, although some producer postings were higher.
