Mitsubishi exports PAU cargo in otherwise dull market

Mitsubishi grabbed the headlines this week in an otherwise quiet few days for ammonia spot activity as it sold its first export cargo from the 660,000 t/year Indonesian PAU Sulawesi facility. Close to 20,000 t will be lifted on the PAU marketer’s Pazifik with rumours at press time that the vessel will be directed to Western Australia, although not confirmed. This does suggest a possible spot sale to Yara while major maintenance is undertaken at its Pilbara plant. Pricing details were not available at press time.
