China: Producers discount granular urea to push sales

Select producers of granular urea in northeast China provided distributors with discounts up to RMB 150- 180/t ($23-27/t) on prior offers to stimulate sales as purchases for direct application were winding down over the week. The action also triggered some discounts for prills, but these were substantially lower.
