Russia: Jan-Feb DAP/MAP/NPK/NPS exports up 6.5%

Exports of DAP/MAP/NPK/NPS in Jan-Feb from Russia rose 6.5% to 1.6 million mt, as lower DAP and MAP exports were offset by higher NPK/NPS exports, according to new IHS GTA data. February DAP exports from Russia were down 65% year on year at 69,289 mt with Jan-Feb DAP exports down 39% year on year to 165,160 mt. Jan-Feb DAP volumes to the US fell 52% to 32,681 mt, shipments to Brazil rose to 17,650 mt from 1,014 mt and volumes to Belgium fell 76% to 10,958 mt. Exports of MAP from Russia in February fell 55% year on year to 117,774 mt, with Jan-Feb MAP exports down 46% to 164,398 mt.
