Global DAP/MAP prices maintain stability

DAP/MAP prices were mostly unchanged across most markets this week as demand and low availability helped firm prices slightly in Latin America but the weakness of the Indian rupee pressured prices east of Suez. Brazilian MAP demand continues to be steady at current prices after MAP imports from January-April fell 12% year on year, according to new ANDA data. Limited near-term availability helped maintain prices at $427-431/mt CFR in Brazil on new deals from EuroChem with some indications of further deals in the low $430s/mt CFR for June shipment.
