OCP posts 9.2% rise in gross profit

OCP's gross profit reached MAD 31.6 billion ($3.3 billion) in the calendar year 2017, up 9.2% year on year, the company said in a press release. Revenues for the period were MAD 48.5 billion ($5.0 billion), up 14% year on year. The company said its 2017 fertilizer production increased by 22% with premium products accounting for 43% of its export volumes. Sales volumes of phosphate rock rose 40% year on year.
