India: Further reports of MOP subsidy decline

There are further reports that India's Department of Fertilizers will decrease the nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) of MOP for 2018/19 by INR 700-750 ($11-12)/mt from the current INR 7,437 ($114)/mt. The move, which would hit Indian MOP importers' margins, could be an attempt by the government to limit a 2018/19 contract price increase, some sources suggested.
