US NOLA: Buyers wary of higher potash prices

Traders shopping for granular potash barges to move north starting around mid-March are not supporting offers above $240/st FOB New Orleans at this point. Even though greater movement of potash barges should begin with the opeining of the northern reaches of the Mississippi River starting around mid-March there does not appear to be support for further price increases from inland markets.
