India: Both contracts and spot business awaited

Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to India were assessed unchanged week on week at $35-50/mt CFR, with no new sales confirmed. Most market participants believed that new spot trades would have to be priced in the $50s/mt CFR in order to acquire tonnes in the current tight market, but there was not yet any confirmation that buyers were willing to pay these levels.
