OCP still had demand for additional sulphuric acid cargoes, according to market sources, though the buyer seemed unwilling to pay the prices required for tonnes from the Two Lions sulphur burner in China. The buyer’s Q1 prices for contract volumes from European suppliers are understood mostly to be in the $40s/mt CFR.
