Turkey: Jan-Oct acid imports climb 7%

Turkey’s October imports of sulphuric acid were roughly stable at 59,121 mt, leaving imports for the first 10 months of the year up 7% at 493,686 mt. As is typical for Turkey, almost all of the tonnes came from Aurubis’s Pirdop smelter in Bulgaria, which provided 58,079 mt in October and 465,453 mt over January-October.
