Canada: UAN imports down 22% through October

Canada imported 204,000 mt UAN-32 from January through October 2017, according to Statistics Canada data via IHS GTA. This was down by 21.9% on the 2016 volume over the same months. Imports from the US were down 31% to 62,000 mt while arrivals from Lithuania were up to 51,000 mt from 172 mt. Trinidad & Tobago accounted for 42,000 mt, a drop of 29%, Netherlands were down 43% to 16,000 mt, and Belarus dropped to zero from 47,000 mt.
