Southeast Asia: Higher granular MOP prices reported

Prices of granular MOP in Vietnam and Thailand were this week suggested to have increased on the back of tight supply while standard MOP prices were pegged stable in the wider Southeast Asia spot market. BPC is loading 33,000 mt mixed standard and granular MOP for Hanexim in northern Vietnam this week, the company said. The standard product sold at $265/mt CFR, while the granular was at $295/mt CFR, according to the marketing arm of producer Belaruskali.
