Chile: Spot price falls into $60s/mt CFR

Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to Chile were assessed down on the week at $65-75/mt CFR from $70- 80/mt. A deal was reported for December delivery in the mid-$60s/mt CFR, following a previous deal for December around $70/mt CFR, though most offers were slightly higher. As previously reported, one settlement for 2018 contracts was heard between a Chilean buyer and a Peruvian supplier in the $60-65/mt CFR, with most sources pegging the level around the lower end of this range.
