China: Buyers demand double-digit decreases for Q4

Contracts for fourth-quarter sulphuric acid imports to China were still under discussion, sources said. Buyers are seeking decreases of around $10/mt from Q3, while sellers are pushing for rollovers. No new Chinese export business has been reported recently, partly due to slower global spot markets, and also due to higher feedstock costs for sulphur burners squeezing any potential margins.
