Prices for sulphuric acid exports from East Asian smelters remained assessed at $0-30/mt FOB Japan/South Korea for spot and contract, with no new sales confirmed this week. Prices in India remain pegged up to the high $60s/mt CFR, suggesting that sales at FOB levels in the $30s/mt were possible given freights as low as the $20s/mt for 15-25,000 mt vessels from the Far East. Still, there was a lack of confirmed business at such levels.
