Indonesia exported more than 300,000 mt urea in the first half of 2017, a decline of 43% on the same months a year earlier, according to Statistics Indonesia data via IHS GTA. Vietnam was up 6% to 116,000 mt while the Philippines (88,000 mt) and Australia (32,000 mt) were down 30% and 66%, respectively. Sri Lanka was up to 19,000 mt from zero, and Malaysia was ahead 23% to 15,000 mt while Thailand dropped 47% to 14,000 mt, South Korea was off 70% to 7,000 mt, and the US dropped to 148 mt from 83,000 mt. Belgium was at zero from 49,000 mt.
