Germany: H1 exports up 8% despite falling gas output

Germany’s June exports of sulphur increased 27% year on year to 47,759 mt, leaving the volume for the first half of the year up 8% at 271,305 mt. The main outlets in June were Morocco with 21,000 mt, Belgium with 9,782 mt, and France with 6,072 mt. For H1, exports to Morocco jumped to 68,600 mt, up 139%. Shipments to Belgium climbed 22% to 63,507 mt, with France down 18% at 36,115 mt and Israel up to 21,022 mt from a mere 18 mt.
