Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to Chile remained assessed at $70-80/mt CFR, as the market remained quiet. Some in the market continued to hope for some Q4 demand, suggesting buyers may return in November seeking tonnes for December. But most in the market agree that, barring any production issues, there is unlikely to be much if any spot import demand from Chilean buyers for the remainder of the year.
