US S. Plains: Potash prices increase

Retailers in the US South are not buying much fertilizer, but much of what they are buying is potash, according to distributors. Demand has been sufficient enough to support prices posted up to $270/st FOB along the Arkansas River, although most transactions are reported at $250-260/st FOB.
