China: Export activity persists to tight regional markets

Sulphuric acid exports from China have continued, with additional smelters eager to enter the export market. Jinchuan Fangcheng recently sold sulphuric acid cargoes for export to India and Malaysia in the mid-$30s/mt FOB China, according to market sources. The India business consists of two cargoes totalling around 10,000 mt, while the Malaysia deal was for a cargo of 7-8,000 mt.
