Algeria: Sorfert urea back up and running

The 1.3 million mt/year Sorfert granular urea unit is back up and running since April 12, according to the producer, but there are no reports of new sales at this stage. The price-range for the week is therefore assessed at an indicative $220-225/mt FOB based on netbacks available from key regional markets. Output from the AOA urea unit with the same capacity as Sorfert remains suspended, according to traders with offtake agreements.
