USA: DAP/MAP exports up moderately July-January

Despite a slight decline in US DAP/MAP exports during January of this year exports during the first seven months of the current US fertilizer year through January 31, 2017 were up compared to the prior year period, according to the most recent data provided by The Fertilizer Institute. January 2017 DAP/MAP exports totalled 107,757 st (105,955 mt) P2O5, down from 113,195 st (102,690 mt) P2O5 one year earlier. The main destinations for US DAP/MAP during the most recent month included Australia at 44,263 st P2O5, Brazil at 29,207 st and Canada at 14,459 st P2O5.
