US NOLA: UAN sellers cut offers, buyers not impressed

After several weeks of little if any activity in the spot barge market, suppliers have indicated they will sell UAN-32 around $180/st FOB. The indicated drop of $5-15/st from prior weeks has not generated new business so far. Large US distributors note that the reduced asking prices at New Orleans for spot UAN still do not work with inland resale values, once $35/st of barge freight and throughput costs are added.
