Jordan: JPMC agrees 2.5 mln mt rock exports to India

JPMC signed agreements with a group of Indian companies to export 2.5 million mt phosphate rock this year at prices in line with international market rates, the company said in an emailed statement, via Bloomberg. The statement did not name the buyers. Jordan sold about 3 million mt rock to India last year. IFFCO, India's largest rock buyer, procured about 1.5 million mt from Jordan under contract. The remainder was sold as spot to buyers including Greenstar, Hindalco and Sterlite, according to CRU data.
