Phosphoric-acid export prices from North Africa are now assessed at an indicative $537- 790/t FOB. Despite the slump in dry freight rates through recent months, phosphoric acid freight rates are assessed largely stable by market sources and brokers since the start of the first quarter. The low end of the range represents the likely netback on sales to India and the high end for technical-use (industrial/food grade) merchant-grade phosphoric acid contracts to Europe.
