Pakistan: July DAP offtake up 23%

Pakistan’s DAP offtake in July rose 23% year on year to around 247,000 t, according to the National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC). April-July DAP offtake was still down 3.6% year on year at 635,000 t. The decline is largely a result of the farming community in Pakistan awaiting the implementation of the country’s new subsidy scheme, which is still yet to be agreed.
