ICL’s second-quarter gross profit was down 37% year on year at $320 million as the impact of Covid-19 and lower commodity prices hit, the company said in a July 29 press release. Total sales revenues fell 16% year on year to $1.20 billion due to weak commodity prices as well as lower demand for clear brine fluids and some of the company’s flame retardants due to the impact of Covid-19, ICL said.
