Mediterranean: Assessment steady but sources expect further increases

Delivered spot prices for sulphur cargoes of 10,000 t or less in the Mediterranean region were assessed unchanged at $85-95/t CFR and $70-75/t FOB pending new sales. As reported last week, the latest 7,000 t sales tender from Greece's Motor Oil was heard awarded in the very low $80s/t FOB, but sources doubted the repeatability of the price and suggested that levels in the mid-$70s/t FOB were more likely.
