The €237.50/t FCA average at La Pallice reflects about $244/t CIF at the prevailing exchange rate with limited provisions for costs and none for a margin. This suggests netbacks to Algerian suppliers at $233/t FOB, for producer returns no higher than $230/t FOB. Netbacks to Egyptian producers would be closer to $220/t FOB.
